A story told in a far away land
lost in generation
A forgotten tale
about vengeance, forgiveness and reconciliation
It all started with a single stone
moulding not only the shape of a hand
but also a mind into its own
so ready to strike the one she couldn’t stand
But before she followed the path of vengeance …
unexpectedly the former shape of her hand was found
her eyes had opened and beyond the sinner she suddenly saw the sins
the stone fell back to the ground
But emotions were still running high
how could she right the wrong
while all she wanted was to say goodbye
how could she forgive him and move on
But the path of forgiveness was just that
not moving on together
but letting go of what was said
from what was done and from who she had met
Her path ended there
for what he made her believe was never true
she had learned life’s great lesson that life is never fair
but she didn’t wanna die too
Some said the story ended in sadness
for the path of reconciliation was never walked on
others believe that she had to part to prevent madness
and all she could have she had done
But the clue of the story
was not what had happened or who she walked away from
but rather how far your path would reach
to teach that it’s ok to think that some things are better off gone
